KINDNESS

"Wherever I turn today,

I get snapped, ridiculed, and sent away.

Hesitation is the next huge emotion

that engulfs me then.

Like the tsunami on an island.

It is then hard for me to exit

this shell of mine.

Like I was flooded, with

Water beyond eyebrows.

Struggle is a struggle, no comparison.

I was drowning,

Drowning in inferiority complex.

Just about to completely,

completely lose myself.

When the ship ‘Kindness’,

took me aboard.

Suddenly I was reminded of my

ability to swim.

I could have gotten to the coast.

The overwhelming water

had clouded my direct sight

at which lied my strengths!"
